what would the back spacing be for a transam with a ford 9in under it

if it is a stock length rearend the the backspacing will be the same as any other F Body wheel

i called weld and they said to run a 15x8 with a 5.5 back space or a 15x10 with a 7 inch back space

The 15x10 should have 7.5" of backspacing. The 5.5 for the 15x8 is correct
