Default Aspect ratio 30/40

I am trying to get some new tires on a budget. I found some 245/"40"/R18 tires and some 285/"30"/R18 tires...would this look awkward? I always see a difference of "5" in the ratio but am curious if it'll be good enough.

Thumbs up

245/40/18 = 25.7" Good!

285/30/18 = 24.73" Too short!

What you want is a 275/35/18 (25.58"), or 285/35/18 (25.85").

FYI. There are tire calculators in the sticky up top.
