Default question about m/t

this might be a stupid question do they make 17 m/t that will fit my stock 00 ws6 wheels 17 I have 275/40/17 on right now, if so who sells them

I keep seeing the m/t in 15,16 wheels

thanks for any help on this

They do make a 275-40-17 and it will fit no problem.Try here, they have a pretty good price and Im sure there are a few other places that have good deals.

If you wanna change sizes or anything, just go to summits site and put in the size and or brand-it will show you all brands.

thanks for the info
is their a reason why I see more people with 15,16 wheels running m/t
compared to just running a17 m/t

still trying to get a good understanding on the whole drag racing wheels and tires thing

Ok, the smaller wheel is to have the same size tire(there abouts) but a taller sidewall. The more sidewall meat you have, the more you can drop pressure and have more to dig in. A short little 35 or 40 series sidewall wont flex as much as a 45 or 50 or 60 series. Its all about traction.
