Default Lost a .10 off my et with ZR1s

bought a bone stock A4 Z28 LS1 2 weeks ago and last week went out and run a 8.84 1/8 mile. this week i added some chrome ZR1s with 11's in the rear and went a 8.96 tonight, so i lost a little et but picked up on the looks!!. Does this seem right to other that have done the same?

Get some 17" Billet Specialties Street Lites. Money is not too bad and they are descently light. Or there's always Fiske or CCW but you are talking $$$$.

I was going to get some ZR1s, but got turned off by the weight, looking at the BS Wheels now.

im thinking about buy some prostars and spacers for the front, and running stock snowflakes on rear with et streets. Would love to but prostars on rear but dont really want to grind calipers. I would do the 17" billet specalities but id rather have the 15" one but thats some $$$

I seen a thread on here where someone switched his zr1s out for some kind of drag wheel and lost 100 pounds.

well .1 of a second can also be because of weather or type of gas that you put but then again my bros zr1 11'' with tires weighed in at about 38lb each with 315s.

and my 16'' painted stock 98 camaro wheels on 255 mickeys weighed about 32.

18" z06s that i have now with 295 bfg drags radials was about 25 or so.

if i get some free time id like to weight my zr1s and stock wheels. weather was actually a little cool and same 60' time. but oh well i guess i can add more mods to compensate for the weight!!

Probably about a 8lbs difference between the 17x11 and 16x8, maybe 5lbs for the 17x9.5 vs 16x8.

But I forget exactly but rotating mass is like adding weight to your car by a factor of 4 IIRC.

Pick you up a set of Prostars and you'll be good, have the looks of the ZR1s for cruising, and the Prostars when you want to play!!!
