Can`t Decide on new Wheels ?
I`m gonna be look`n at getting some new wheels over the winter & I
can`t decide on witch one`s to get it looks like it`s gonna be either one of
these :
OE wheels C5 DD machined faced with black 18x9.5 & 18x10.5 ( when available ) .
OR
HP design lightining`s machined face with black 19x9.5`s
Also if I go with the 19`s will a 295 series tire fit or will a 285 be better ?
Any opinions on either would be great
Thanks.

You know, those machined face C5's actually look pretty good. At first glance they look like a more expensive wheel than they are.
Having said that, seriously, enough with the Corvette wheels already.
Believe it or not, there are actually other wheels that fit our cars.

I don`t plan on making crazy HP so it may be enough tire for me but I do have a contact who could widend them for me though , also my car is a firehawk & I wanted to put something alittle uninqe on my car too . . .
Now don`t get me wrong the DD C5`s look sweet , you can`t beat the price
& I would not have to have the wheels widend .
Here`s a pick of the HP`s I just want everyone`s opinions on both thanks .

And I`m not really gonna build a high horsepower car anyway maybe somithing like 400-500 n/a h/c range but thats way later down the road I`m
trying to make my car handle first , use my suspension as a base and work around that , but I kinda F`d up I should have bought adjustable shocks , oh well .

Thanks sstg , I do like the HP`s allot but how about from a performance standpoint , I`m gonna loose some rear traction with the 19`s & 285/35`s right ? But I don`t plan on drag racing or auto Xing it really , maybe once or twice
