Default c5 z06 wheels on f-body

Is there any fitment issues with the c5 z06 wheels on a f-body? If not how do they fit?

I didn't have any problems really. The tire place I went to had a bit of trouble at first fitting the rear rims because they jacked up the car the wrong way apparently but they got it to fit perfect when they corrected it. Running 275s and I haven't had any issues with rubbing. I'm stepping up to 295s soon.

run the stock 295's out back on my z06 rims and they rubbed on turns so i put 1/8 inch spacers on and now everything is perfect

King, did you do the BFH mod at all before you put on the spacers? I'm planning on BFH to mine but would like to know if I'll still need spacers.

i think a chrome C5 Z06 rim is one of the best looking rims on a fbody.. true it might be played out, but looks very clean. i am running 18x9.5 chrome C5 Z06 on all 4 with 275/35/18 tires. no problems at all.

i did only once in a small area and it didn't do much. so instead of beatin the **** out of my car i put 1/8 inch spacers on and now i don't rub at all . . . why beat your car with a hammer when you can just put spacers on and be done with it??? don't go 1/4 inch from what i've been told, people have to replace studs at that point so i think 1/8 inch is just perfect and it looks alot meaner with the tires sticking out the much i'll tak a pic when i get home on thursday and you can see

btw i think you should have included in your original thread title people with 295 size c5 z06 rims, i know people who run 275 z06 rims and of course they wont have any problem because they are the same size as the stock 10 spokes

I'm running a 305/35/18 and I didn't have to do that much beating. It only rubs when I come in my driveway.

Thanks that would be great I'm interested in seeing how wide they look. Where can you buy spacers? Autozone?

1/4 is safe to do on stock studs..anything else is just too risky.

i got my oem z06s on my dropped z28 and with 315 toyo drag radials which run real wide.

just for the best look and stance i went with a 7/16 spacer and rolled the fender longer wheel studs not the cheapest route but cleanest looking in my opinion so i can get tire and fender as flush as possible

btw sorry to rain on your parade King NOthing but 7/16 spacer and 315s make it look lol
you should try 1/4 it would look better and its safe.

it looks good no doubt about that, but i'm happy playin it safe with the stock 295 and 1/8 spacer . . . plus i hate seeing a tire stick out way past a rim like your are, to me it's to much out of place, but thats just my opinion
