You've purchased the wrong kind of wheels. You have street 15" wheels that look like a drag wheel and that's about it...Unless I'm mistaken, you have tapered 60 deg. lugs. Drag wheel setups typically use shank style lugs.

...you should have stayed with at least the economy weld prostars.

Sounds like you've opted for some nice parts on your car...you should have considered lighter higher quality wheels which would have brought you into the 9's much quicker...shaving an easy tenth off if not more.

Good luck

Yap, last time I checked the Summit stars used regular old tappered lug nuts. Kinda defeats the purpose of using 5/8 studs.

I'd suggest buying the proper wheels. I suppose to answer your question though, sure you could, I wouldn’t though.

The amount of money you've spend on the th400, and the 9" you have forthcoming...I'd get wheels that are more appropriate for your car. Personally, I wouldn't even trust using those wheels for a 9 second car.

5/8 studs use a 5/8 nut, not a "lug nut" so it's impossible to use them with a conical seat style wheel. You're either going to have to buy proper drag wheels, or lose your 5/8 studs.

Well if you want something economy style, stick with something like welds prostar or similar. If you want a high end wheel, obviously, our Bogarts would fit the bill. I can build you them to directly fit your OEM calipers.

You'd have to e-mail me your request on our forms. Depending on what you want and what we are building them for, prices vary. Use the link below. The rear wheels alone would be like dropping ~50lbs from your car. They aren't going to be priced like the cast wheels you purchsed, so don't be alarmed...but you get what you pay for. People spend 600.00 on a k-member just to drop 30lbs.
