Default tire size help!

ok, so i plan on buying a set of 2-17"x9.5" and 2-18"x10.5" z06's.
anyways i know that i want 275/40/17's on the fronts, but i don't know what size i should be running in the backs that will match in comparison as far as sidewall and width goes.. oh, and i'm daily driving the car, so i don't want something that's going to wear out in two miles like a drag radial or anything.
i'm just looking for the tire size i should go with for the back tires that would compare to the rears. Help please.

285/35R18 . . . 295/35R18 . . . 305/35R18 all will work. I think a 295/35R18 is ideal.

As for matching the sidewall height, you don't want to to that, the ABS computer with not like that . .

i had 17x9.5 with 275/40's and 18x10.5 with 295/35 and it was perfect. The 305's cost way more and are barely wider. Just dont get Firestone firehawks they are not a true 295 they run skinny.

ok guys, thanks for the help, i'm really looking for a cheap temporary tire for now. something that will get me around for a while until i can save some more money for something better. anyways i was looking at this Sumitomo HTR Z II in 275/40/17 and in 285/35/18 mainly because it's the cheapest tire for the tread rating it has, and doesn't look like it's that bad of a tire as far as reviews go, and i can match fronts with rear as far as brand and style goes. my question is.. will this 285 out back look too skinny on the 10.5" rim? i'm not wanting it to look like its a stretched tire or anything.
