I wanted to buy an outer lip for one of my rear wheels. A 17x11 FM5

I tried again today still no luck I think I am going to just send it out to a local wheel repair company that has done some awesome work before for the shop I used to manage. I just preferred to actually replace it with a new piece. Oh well if they mess up the hoop then im back where I am now. I am going to specify that they do not touch the center section of the wheel in anyway. In that case I think I will be ok.

Fikse won't sell you an out loop
they will make you ship the wheel back
to them and it will be real expensive to
replace.

ah damnit... thanks for the info. Guess ill call the wheel repair company, and if they screw it up they can foot the bill for the loop. I just worry about trusting them with my 900$ wheel. But my purpose was to try to save a little but at the same time get the best repair possible. and also I have everything needed to replace it myself no need to pay someone else to do it.

These are the wheels I'm going to get someday. I've always loved these wheels.

HOLY ****!! Wow.... well thanks for the info guys, that really really sucks, I am seriously shocked that Fikse is gone.....

Someone did say in the thread that they were pretty sure forgeline could re-hoop a fikse so that is good but still im at a loss for words that Fikse is done, **** they didnt even change the answering machine messages. Sounds right though some of the times I called it didnt go to a mail box or would cut off like something was goofy with the phones.
