Default 26", 27", or 28" tires with 4.10 gears?

Ok guys first i have search numerous threads but got confused a little and still don't know what to do. Im switching to 3.42's to 4.10's and will be going to the track next week. My mods are in my sig and have my rev limiter set at 6500rpms.

BTW, these tires will be going on stock 16x8 rims!! Now i dont know what size slicks i should get for the track. I was thinking of M/T 26x11.5.x16 but have a guy selling some M&H 275/55/16 (about 27.9" tall) for cheap! Now I've read that you have to consider tire growth, so thinking a 28" will rub like hell going down the track. I am lowered 1.5" but could put in the stock rear springs if needed.

Any input guys??? I need your help a.s.a.p because would need to get some tires within a couple days. Thanks for future help.

25.66"
Convert 275 to inches by multiplying by .03937
Multiply that by .40 (40%) to get the sidewall
x2 for 2 sidewalls and add the wheel diameter (17)

So then maybe a 26" tall tire should be fine if I go through the traps @ 119mph?
