Default When are ET Streets "wasted"?

I've got a set of 27x11.50R17 ET Streets that still have the lines in the tire but they just feel really thin in the middle.

When is a good time to trash the ET Streets?

Can't even see the center lines on mine anymore, still dead hooking hard enough to bog the motor a little at 6500rpm. They say the sidewalls are usually gone far before the tread is, but mine still work good.
