Default stickyest tires for A4 z28, and size?

i have a stock 2000 z28 with the original tires on it and i want to be able to race it w/o it spinning...i have the stock snowflake wheels on it and it needs 4 new tires right now it just blows them off when you get on it. My uncle sells tires so price isint the issue i just want the best hook....i would like to run the fattest on the back and skinniest on the front i can on the stock wheels w/o any rubbing. so what size exactly should i order from him and what kind. i know M/T on the back but what on the front...and what size....the car has 3.23 gears in it stock but i might change to 3.73 sometime in the future ? any help will be appriciated. and im gonna get a stall converter sometime in the winter also

are you racing on the track or on the street? I would recommend mickey thompsons either way, but Nittos will suffice. What size are the wheels? 16's 17's width?

a little more info would help, like posted before street or track tires what size etc.

i have 285 nitto non DR on the back of my z, and at the track they still spin on a stock car, but i can hook alot better with my 245 goodyear gsc's

but it really depends on what you are looking for

street mostly...my uncle can only get hoosier, M/T, and BFG drag radials soo i was thinkin M/T...and i dont know the size i have to look, they are the stock snowflakes on a 00 z28 with a 3.32 gear ratio. i just want the biggest i can put on the back without problems and the smallest on the front w/o problems.

stock 16s the widest i would go is 255 at the most, MT are the best drag radials but the are gonna wear easier than say nitto drs, if you want to go for the widest tire on the back of the car look into getting new rims

For the rear grab some 255/50/16 M/T ET Street Radials. I use to have the same combo and it grabbed hard on the street and track. Will be a tad wider than your stock tires which is good. Keep in mind they may only last 3-5k.

As for the front just run a 245 tire like you are now. Anything skinnier would look really stretched and IMO terrible.
