They shut down a while ago bc Tom was fighting cancer... I think they still have a shop called Lonestar Accesories or something like that. Maybe try to find out more info on that shop, and contact them that way...

Thanks for the help. Has anyone experienced flaking of the chrome on their TTM chrome rims? Mine are only 2 years old and are well maintained. The flaking is starting on the part of the rim behind the face or the part that faces out. Flaking has a white color to it and is very rough. All 4 are doing this. Thanks again.

Looking at the American Racing website it doesn't appear that you can call or email them. Only see links for dealers. Will keep looking. Thanks

Spoke to American Racing and they only warranty the finish for 1 year so buyers beware. Wish I had known the quality of the rims before buying. So many here had bought them and I ***umed the finish would last. Next time I will know and try a different brand. Thanks for the help.

Spray eagleone wheel cleaner and a wheel brush or wrag. The car is a show car so I didn't use anything that would scratch or hurt them.

wheel cleaner and a brush on chrome........... hmmmm

On my custom Harleys and choppers I use a good quality glass cleaner and rarely chrome polish. Many of my parts were plated 25 years ago and still look good.

It is for chrome rims and is non acid. I use the eagle one nano chrome polish on them as well.

Strange. Mine are around 2 years old and have no issues at all. They have even had some road coarse (HPDE) use. I only use either detailer or window cleaner on them.

The ttm's are inexpensive for a reason. It's to bad the finish didn't last, but IMO you shouldn't expect a top notch chrome job on budget wheels.

If you think $170 for an aftermarket wheel isn't cheap, then the wheel isnt the only thing that IS cheap. It doesnt get much cheaper for an aftermarket wheel.

$170 is not too bad when comparing them to Fikse wheels at $300 each, but quality reflects on price.

Don't know too many people that would pay a grand for wheel, maybe a doper. $300 is about as high as I would go for a wheel. Like everything it comes down to budget. As far as you calling me cheap you know nothing about me and don't start making assumptions because I don't pay a grand for a wheel.

Take them to a good powder coat shop and you'll have basically have a new set of wheels with a finish that will last, and for a fraction of the cost of a new set of wheels!

That what I did with my wheels.
