Default need help correctly fiting oem vette c5 rims

i got some oem c5 vette rims off a 2000 vette and im putting them on a 95 trans am. want to put 285/35/18 tires on back and 275/40/r17 on front.
have not got tires yet.

test fitted just the rims today the front 17x 8.5 58+ offset seem to fit fine no clearance issues but not sure if i can put 275s on front and not have problems?

backs 18x 9.5 65+ offset look like they fit fine a little close in some areas but would like more clearance. ive been told a 1/2 in spacer would bring the wheel close to the right offset and should give me more clearance in the wheelwell. but will i be able to fit a 285/35/zr18 back there without having to roll fenerwells. i know i can just mount them but i want them to look right and be close to the right offset and dont want to bfh the fenerwell or roll fenders is this possiable?

also if i use a 1/2 in spacer what do i need to get and from where?
do i need new studs when using a spacer?
what all is needed to do the job complete list

i need advise from someone who knows what there talking about possiablly someone who has mounted the c5 thin spoke with corvette offset on there fbody.

dont tell me to use search ive been looking and am lost. can someone please help me set these up

What you want is very possible.
A 255/45/17 is a perfect fit on the 17 x 8.5. A 265, and 275 need's at least a 9" wide wheel. If you want the wheels to have a wider stance the you can put 20mm hub spacers up front to give your wheels an affective offset of +38.
In the rear you can use either a 20mm, or 25mm hub spacers which would set the wheels where a +45mm or +39mm 9.5" wheel would sit.
To do it right/safe, you want some hubcentric hub spacers. You go with some H&R or custom Motorsport Technology hub spacers.

i have the same combo, with 19mm Motorsport Technology hub & wheels centric adapters for the rear only.
a better choice will be the 20mm H&R hub & wheels centric adapters from ebay,

Got the 97-99 c5 rims on my 98z28 Camaro 18 back 17 front. Just need adapter or spacers for the rear. i always use the adapter it bolts to your stock lugs just like a rim will. then bolt rim to adapter. i bought new lug nuts because i don't know if the stock lug nuts will allow you to put the corvette center caps on. I rolled my fenders but it has not been rubbing before i rolled fenders. I put spacers in my springs to hold the car up better. But my last Camaro's 94 and 96 would rub because I had big woofer box in back. Spacers for springs cost $10.00 any auto parts. Bought adapters off ebay #909-825-2818 Think you have to call them MON-FRI. Cost $60.00 for 2 they have all sizes. Lug nuts came with my order to bolt the adapter to stock studs. you should be good with anywhere between 1/2 inch to 1 inch. I put 1.25 to have a real wide rear stance. John

1 inch will be fine, if u want u can get the H&R 20mm of ebay or u can custom a adapter 19mm up via Motorsport Technology hub & wheels.

make sure the adapter is centric to the wheel and ur factory hub.

my 18 x 9.5 (65mm offset) with a 19mm adapter (from Motorsport Technology) plus a 285/35/18 tire fits without any issue,

P.S. my car isnt lowered.
