I'm wondering the same, I'm going to have 28s for drag tires and I want to be able to have some for the street as well so I don't have to dick with changing gears.

same here after doing soem fast research at 305/45/17 is 27.81 inches tall, a 275/50/17 is 27.83 tall. my 275/60/15's a i have on now are 27.99. i want to get out of the drag wheel look and just run ws6 wheels all the time. however, with my 4:11's and 275 radials the car runs 11.90's with just bolt on's. i would love to be able to keep it around that ball park with 17's IF i can find a right street tire and radial tire

M&H makes a 325/45/17 and MT is releasing a 295/55/17 this spring. Both 28 inch tall DRs.
