Default Would a front wheel alignment fix this?

My gf hit a curb in her car, and now the steering wheel has to be slightly angled to the left to drive straight. When the steering wheel is straight, it wants to angle right.

Would a front wheel alignment likely fix this? I'm thinking something just got knocked out of whack.

Any advice is a appreciated.

an alignment *should* fix it, unless something got bent.

Depends how hard she hit the curb. I have seen tie rod ends bent by curbs, as well as spindles and struts. I would inspect it

Yeah, I'll get it checked out tomorrow. The only alignment place that is open tomorrow is NTB and its about 30 min away, but I'm curious as to if a simple alignment will fix it, so we'll probably make the drive tomorrow.

If the wheel is slightly angled to the left, it will go straight. And remain straight, even while braking.

haha stop blameing stuff on your gf..haha... anyhow you prob bent something real bad so you need an alignment plus some more parts somewhere.

you haven't takin your wheel off or replaced any steering parts lately did you?

The nearest Firestone was about 20 min away, but they didn't answer. I'm assuming they were closed. I went to NTB and got the car fixed. Glad an alignment fixed it.
