Default 1/2" wheel stud w/ ZR1's?

Anyone running these bigger studs on their GM or OE Wheel ZR1's (traditional 5 spoke)?
Does it require any modification? (I haven't heard back from OE Wheels).

My plan is to have a dual wheel setup, 17x11's for road race &
15x10 Bogarts for the track. SJM can make the 15" to accommodate
either the stock stud or larger but I want to keep things simple for both
sets of wheels.

I want the larger wheel stud for the strength but don't want to sacrifice my 17's for 'em.

any/all help is appreciated...

I believe you will be fine with 1/2" studs, you can still get an acorn style lugnut for them. Its not until you go 5/8" studs you won't be able to run acorn lugnuts. (anyone please correct me if i am wrong)

1/2" inch is the thickness of the stud right? how come you can't just measure up the size of your lug nut hole on your wheel? is the problem gonna be maybe the nut is gonna hit the center cap?

When I was running my stock 16x8s with my 1/2" studs I just matched the factory acorn end of the the nut with one made for the 1/2" studs...It was just a simple acorn style nut that worked fine...You just have to make sure the wheel side of the nut is the same acorn angle or pretty close...
