Default problem installing ARP 2.5 inch wheel studs (yes I have searched)

I have searched around and havent found a way to get the arp #100-7708 2.5 inch studs on the rear. Here is the problem I am having, I was able to remove the wheel speed sensor so I can get the stock studs off. They came out without a problem. But the base diameter of the stock stud is smaller than the ARP. Now I can't get the arp over the reluctor wheel and all the way into the hole. What can I do about this? I dont want to damage the reluctor wheel.

I tried wiggling it around and it is still not enough to get it over the reluctor ring. I am going to pull the axle out tonight and try it that way.

I pulled the axles on my 3 channel, and it didnt take long at all to tap out the stock ones, and pull in the 2.5" ARPs.

I had to do the same for my ARP studs on the front of my car. There was no way I could get them through the stock holes otherwise.

Just pull the axles. I'm glad I did, because I found out I had bad bearings and needed new axles. It won't hurt it to change your rear end oil anyway.

just kinda pissed off that I just changed the diff fluid 2 years ago to royal purple 75w90 that stuff isnt cheap up here. $25 canadian a bottle. New gasket that I got cheap cause i work at a GM dealer. But I just dont like grinding things. HAs anyone had any broken stud issues because of having to grind it?
