Hi i bought two more 8in prostars to put street tires on. I will probley do 275/60/15s on them but was looking at the 295/50s. They say the 295/50s will work on 8in rims but Im worried they would bow or roll over the rims to far and look stupid. Any suggestions?

i would go with the 275's the 295's are put on around 9.5 to 10.5 rims i would not even try to mount them on an 8inch rim the 275 might bow a little but it will protect the rim from being curbed

Ok thanks man. Yeah i have 275/60s M/T drag radials on another set and they look good so Il probley stick around that size.

295's will fit but you will be slicing your tires on the fenders. i would stick with the 275/60 the larger sidewall will help you more than the fatter tire

I had 295/50's on a set of 15x10's like 16 years ago and there's no way I'd put a set on 15x8's.

275/50/15 looks dam good on a 8inch wide prostar,etc. my buddy has that on his and it looks really good ill try to get some pics

I have the 275/60 M/t radials already just getn a set of street tires for cruises to car shows and out of town driving. We went to a car show about 2hrs away and on the way home it started raining. I almost wrecked with the radials just wanted sumthin to cruise on. Also I may go with slicks or et streets back on the other set after the M/t are gone.
