Default Newbie for tire/wheel info

i've been reading up on the different tires and styles for several hours here and i had some questions.

for reference, i was checking out OE's site and was interested in the 18/19 set of the Zo6 C6 DD in the gunmetal w/ rivets and SS lip.

The 19's are a 10" wide rim.
Is a spacer going to be needed? what size?

I've seen a lot of people need them, but everybody is putting on really wide tires (300+). I'm a little more conservative and am looking at a slightly narrower kind. Stock tire size is 235/55/16 (26.2" dia) and was only wanting to go a little bigger/wider. For the 19's, i was thinking the 275/35/19 (26.6").

For the 18's i'm debating between the 235/45/18 (26.3") or the 255/40/18 (26.0")

I don't want to do the BFH or roll the fenders. what about the stoppers?

Can someone give me some advise if these will fit ok? or maybe do something else?

For a black car, what rim finish do you recommend/like.

I was thinking black originally, but then thought about the gunmetal, then thought about black chrome.....any thoughts?

I black or gunmetal would look great i'm parcial to black on black cars. Also I think for
a 10" rim a 275 will be streched I would do 295 at the smallest. Is the car lowered? If so then more thing will need to be done to get them to fit ie rolling fenders and bfh other then that you might have to do something with the bump stop but Im not sure with a 10" rim. I ran 17x11s and I just cut them off

thanks for the reply.

the car is not lowered, but i did take out the big rubber thing at the top of the rear springs. it lowered it a little bit, but i wouldn't consider it "lowered".

yeah, i don't know what would be a comfortable tire width on a 10" rim. i wish they had a smaller one, but oh well.

i'd like to find some black chrome ones, but no luck yet.
