Default Can I use a 275/40/19 Tire

I have ruff racing 278's 19X9.5 all around I am running 275/35/19, a friend gave me two 275/40/19 tires and was wondering if I used them in the rear if I would have any clearance issues or any other issues.

If it does fit does anyone have pictures

thanks for your help

It depends how much more clearance you have.... I created this for you to compare.

that tires diameter is pushing it a little bit, the 275/35 would fit better

yea i agree. ur gonna be close since ur not lowered. now if u were lowered, i would say no way they would fit. im lowered about 1.5 inches and am running a 275/30/19 and have a lil rubbing when i go over a large bump.

but hey, on another note, they were free right?? try them out, if they dont work out. u can always sell them.

I have 275/30's on the rear and 245 35's on the front.. and they tuck in super nice in my opinion. I have a adjustable panhard rod and with the car down 2" it fits great. I am going to roll the lips for safety but I have 1/2" clearance. on the sidewalls.
