tires for my camaro???
i just bought new rims for my 2000 camaro z28. i got 17x8 for front. and 18x8 for rear. what is the maximum tire size i can get with these with out hitting the wheel well and to be able to turn my front wheels

well lets not get too riled up here, you would get more responses in that section though.
for the front you prolly dont wanna go super wide in the front but it depends on what you wanna do with the car, i have 275's on the front and have no issues, i believe mine came with 275's from the factory also but im not sure

How about you take your own advice??
Ls1tech has been getting a bunch of dbags lately ls1's must be getting affordable to the wrong people....
If you post in the wheels and tires section you will definitely get more responses though...

syl is one of my buddies from back at home. actually iam very new to this and of course it would have been the right choice. but i did not see the section so i thought this would be a place to start. and yet it has only led me to the right place. bad news is sometimes good news.

245/40x17 will be an inch too short... should use 245/45x17...
what i'd do is sell the 17's, and use the 18x8's in the front with a 245/40x18, and buy some 18x9.5's with a 285/35x18 in the back...
