Default I think I found my new wheels...

I've been looking for wheels to replace the TT2s on my Formula. I really like the Fikse FM5s, but they're really expensive, so I've been looking for similarly-styled wheels. Everyone knows about the AR Rebels and some others, but I think I may have finally found the right ones - True Forged "Sleeper" wheels.

I did a quick photoshop to see how they might look (I also lowered the car), and IMO it turned out great.

With TT2s:

With TF Sleepers:

I'm going to go with 17x9.5s up front and 17x11s in the rear with 315s. I'd also get the wheels without the rivets or "assembly bolts", as True Forged calls them. I'm waiting to hear back on pricing, but from what I've heard, they're pretty reasonable.

They look pretty nice.

Do you have 17X11's in the TT2's? Or do you have 9.5 all the way around?

I don't have them yet. That's just a photoshop.

I'm pretty sure they're 9.5s all the way around. The previous owner put them on. The fronts are 275s, the rears 285s.

True Forged wheels are VERY NICE!! Can get em in just about any way you want em, and the pricing is pretty reasonable. Ive talked to Steve over there (Member on SVTPerformance) and last i heard, hed like to get more of their wheels on F-bodys.

I really want a set of Chicanes, just dont have the cash for them.

Steve is a great guy to work with! I got one of the first sets of Mach 5's that they did for fbodies and they look amazing. I was originally wanting to go with a 17x9/11 combo like my old torq thrust 2s were but he said the 11's would need a special barrel which would add some to the price. I cheaped out and went with 17x9/17x10 instead. Still going to go 315s on the rear however.

I really want to get a set of wheels for my dd Colorado as well but they will get torn to hell on the roads around here. In the future I would like to sell my current set and step up to a set of 18s in 3rd gen offset (since I don't have a 4th gen anymore) so I don't need spacers and so that it will give me much bigger lips on the wheels.

They are very comparable price wise IMO to the higher end wheels like iForged and the like. I would contact Steve, the owner and he might be able to hook you up on a great deal. If you do, let me know!

Those are sick!!! I love those, they're going to look killer on your car.

If you don't get those, you should get C5 Z06's....

...haha yeah right, J/K!!!!

What would you go with, the polished? I think the anthracites would look good with NBM too. I can't wait to see pics of this, my car looks just like yours, mnus the wheels.

Either polished or brushed. Brushed isn't listed on their website, but in my research I've seen a lot of cars with them.
