Default "New" wheels are in.

FedEx dropped these off today at my Dad's shop. Had to empty almost 1/4 of a dumpster's worth of popcorn lol!

They're Speedline Mistrals, aluminum and around 20 lbs. 17" x 9.5"

Gotta get them refinished and I'll put another speedline logo on them. They're reflective so I gotta find a good place to get them.

I can't find any pics of these in the 5 lug pattern, but there are a few 4 lugs and also the 3 piece wheels out there too. Not sure about the production numbers or how rare they are but they're freaking awesome looking!

What do you think of Gunmetal or Anthracite wheels on a Maroon car? I'm thinking white logo, but a body colored logo could work...

Cool wheels. Were they originally for Corvette applications?

They were on an F-body before that the owner road raced a bit. He had some 17x9.5's and two 17x11's. I don't have any use for 11's and the cost for tires & weight aren't my liking.

Out of the two I'd pick Gun-metal, but IMO gloss black and leaving the speedline text off it would look better! If you really want some white on the wheels put a 1/8" white, or better yet a red pinstripe around the edge of the wheels.

Turns out these might be more rare than I thought. There are some that were released on the Vauxhall Vectra ST200's and only 35 produced for that model itself. Can't find any info on what might have run the 17 x 9.5's though.

Might just need to send an e-mail to Speedline corporate and get a history lesson lol!

Nice find! They don't look too good now, but if you refinish them they'll look good!

Like others said, I'd leave off the logo, or put a smaller one on.

Yeah, the OEM's look like they were smaller logos. These have been refinished. One of the speedline logos are on a different spoke in reference to the valve stem.
