Default Narrowed rear and OE style wheels?

I am about to put a 12 bolt in my 99 and Im thinking of having it built with it narrowed 2" per side. My drag set up will then be 15x10 with a 5.5 BS.

My main question is what are my options for rear wheels other than CCW, or any other custom wheel manufactuer?

Does OE wheels make anything to fit with a narrowed rear ?

Nope..If you get it narrowed..its all custom wheels from then on! I was in the same boat but I guess Ill have to save up for some really nice wheels when I want to go with street trim..

You can always run adapters in the rear like 3rd gen guys do to run 4th gen wheels. To be honest, the 2" narrowed rear is just a 3rd gen spec rear.

The adapters are cheap and IMO very safe, and will allow you to run stock or stock spec wheels.

The more I think about this I dont remember 3rd gen rears being that much shorter. Im talking 2" per side, 4" total .
That doesnt seem right .

Gotta look into this a little more.

Man dont narrow your rear unless your are perfectly content with running drag rims all the time or you have lots of cash to buy iforged, forgeline, etc.
Hell even CCW will not go that deep dish on the rear. My rear is narrowed 3' per side. It looks badass but now I dont have the money to buy nice set of street rims and I have to cruise around on prostars

3rd Gen cars came with 1/8" spacers to allow the different offset wheels on the front and rear to work while being rotated. A 2" adapter is safe and will allow you to run your factory wheels or whatnot without having to go with custom wheels. Been there, done that.

So with a 2 1/2 in narrowed rear 5 total I could just get a 2 1/2 in spacer? Man I hope so because I really would like to 17s or 18s for street use or car shows and not spend $5000 on wheels..

Here you go. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5-X-4...item19b852d98a. Then, you could save a bunch of money and just buy my wheels. lol

That's what I'd do. I ran 2 1/2" adapters on my '69 to fit the 18x10.5 Z06 wheels on the stock rear.

Thanks, I apprecaite it! Your bogarts should look great. That is the one thing that makes me sometimes wish I didn't narrow mine.... Bogart is the only rim I can run and clear LS rear brakes as of right now and I'm not sure I want to tie up 2k on track setup that would get used 10-15 times a year.

^^ 2 1/2 inches on each side should give some good dish like what you have! I got a 17/15 combo then later Ill get some more 17s for the rear. I was having a hard time dropping $2000 just for wheels too but its worth it!

Yup, its 2" per side. That's roughly what I have to run my 4th gen offset wheels on my third gen.

And these aren't spacers. They are adapters. These bolt on to the existing lugs and then have their own lugs that the wheels bolt to. Spacers just take up space on the existing lugs.
