Default Help with tire selection

I bought a set of black ebay specials: 18x9.5 56mm offset. I currently have 18X9.5 54mm offset corvette replica's with 1 inch wheel adapters (got the car like this) with 245/40/18's. I'd like to run 255/40's in the front and 275/40's im the rear. With the offset/adapters would the 275's work in the back? Its important that nothing sticks out of the wheel wells. Stock height for now with strano's in the near future. What do you guys think would be the best tire combination in front and back?

if u want to be able to rotate them, get 275/35's all around, since the wheels r the same width... 245/40's would be the right height in the front, but should be on an 8.5" wheel, and 275/40's on the back would be an inch taller than stock... u could go with a 265/35 on the front and a 285/35 on the back if u want a staggered look, those would be the smallest and biggest sizes for a 9.5" wheel...

Unhappy

well, after looking at the picture chart in the sticky I think I'm screwed. Just to make sure can anyone definitively tell my new 9.5 inch wheels with a 56mm offset will not fit the wheel wells with the 1 inch spacers the previous owner installed. If that's the case I'm going to have to replace all 20 studs as they were cut down to accommodate the adapters. Does someone have a link for longer studs should I want to put a tiny spacer in there to push them out a little? Any help appreciated

EDIT: I think I figured it out. With a 1 inch adapter (25.4 mm) That would put me at an insane 81.4mm offset on 9.5 inch wheel. Now its obvious that I will be replacing all the cut studs when the new wheels are here.
