Are my wheel fitment calculations right?

Are my wheel fitment calculations right?
OK, so I found a wheel that I really like.
The problem is they make it in a 18x10 with a +25mm offset. It won't fit, especially when I lower the car.
So, my way around that is....
Buy 18x8.5 +30mm offset and widen them to 10.5 inches.
From the searching I've done, and calculations from the mounting surface to the outside of the wheel (street side) and to fill up the fender nicely, F-bodies have about 3.35" to work with.
So, this 8.5" wide wheel w/ a +30mm offset measures from the hub mounting surface to the outside of the wheel 3.06". It'll fill the fender nicely especially if I add a 1/4" spacer.
3.31" vs previously stated 3.35"
The backspacing of the wheel would grow to 7.86" assuming the beads or lips of the rim measure 7/16" (for both, not just one).
Is this right?

OR is it more simple than that?
Get the 18x8.5 +30mm offset wheel
add 2" in width
10.5" wheel (4.25 original half +1(half of the added width) = 5.25" is the new half)
so 1"=25.4mm + 30 mm (original offset)=55.4mm offset
So widened 18x8.5 to a 10.5" wide wheel has a 55.4mm offset?
How do that sit in the wheel well? To bring down the offset and fill up the fender better, I could add a 10mm or so spacer right?
