I knew I was going to get these. I don't beleive in the post if I asked if I could run them.. Or if I asked of people's info that have not even had them.. The post is asking for people who have them or have had them on a 9.5" rim. The sumitomos are much smaller than regular 315's and people even run them on a 9" rim. Most people I talk to say they have worked great on there 9.5" rim so lets just leave this thread to people who have actually had them. Thanks

I run them, and well, they are a great DD tire...yeah. As basic as it gets, if you have any type of power being delivered to the wheels, these tires will not continue that delivery process to the ground. I have pics, but nothing that really showcases the size of the tire.

Like said before, good DD tire. dirt cheap. They look pretty cool.
I have 275s up front and 315s in the rear on 17x11s
I am mostly stock (lid, exhaust, cutout, ram air, smooth bellows, ...) and they don't really hook. I have never driven on a drag radial but I would expect less spin for a 315 on a mostly stock Z28.
I can get more/better pictures if you'd like. This is a cell phone pic I had on my computer. Hope this helps.

I don't know where yall are getting that they are smaller. I have a set on my car, 315/35 in the back. They are slightly larger than my last set of 315s, which were Vredesteins or whatever they are called. And they are MUCH larger than my buddies 275's, and the 275's I have on the front of the car. As for them hooking, they don't at all. People ask me all the time why I can't hook with those big as tires. But its not about the size of the tire, it's the compound that makes them sticky. But I just bought a Nitto 315/35/17 Nt555, and I think it is slightly larger than the Sumi's, but I have not mounted it yet. Maybe 1/8" larger. I would NOT run any 315's on a 9.5" wheel...

Wow.... You made yourself look stupid. Calling the other guy a trash talker, when he gave his opinion on what was being asked in the thread about the 9.5" wheel. You call him a *** and tell him to shut the **** up. I think you are the internet trash talker...
