Default Is it SAFE to run spacers on the front?

I know that there are a lot of threads here about how to make Weld Prostars and Draglites fit on an F-body. My 15x3.5 Prostars fit on the front with no caliper grinding and a 5/16" spacer. I'm using 2.5" ARP wheel studs. My question is, is it safe to drive around on the street like this? The design of those wheels already moves the weight further out on the stud, and the spacer just moves it out even further. I don't really want to grind my front calipers since they do about 70% of the braking and this is my daily driver, but am I in danger of breaking studs if I keep using the spacer? Should I just go ahead and grind the calipers and/or use 3.25" studs?
