if i were to purchase a set of 17X9.5 c5 z06 rims from oe wheels, would there be any way for me to widen two of them to a 17X11 and get them to fit???? i know oe wheels is thinking about coming out with the c5 z06 deep dish but i dont think its going to be any time soon if it even happens. i just cant wait. not too worried about the deep dish but i do want them 17X11.?

wheels would be going on my 01 z28

what u guys think? help me out

would spacers do the job just fine?

There is a way to widen them with having a pro wheel shop to actually cut in on the inside lip and welding in an extra 1" rim on the inside lip. There is a guy on here who has 17x13 zr1's that have that done. His name I think is brad_f check those out to get a better idea.

can be done, just depends on the offset etc. and if you have enough clearance to go in 1.5" with the wheel or if the wheel has enough lip to be widened outward. A spacer is always an option, but I've gotten away from them because they are a pain and I won't/can't run them at the track.

yea thats what i want to do is a c5 z06 17X9.5 and widen it to a 17X11. i thought maybe they would just cut it in half add 1.5" but since the lugs go so far out on the rim i dont know how they would mount up
