would i be alright running a 275/40/18 on em?

You want atleast a 295 wide tires, 275 will be too narrow

I'm gonna put a 315 Toyo drag radial on a 10.5.. BUT not all 315's will do that. More than likely a 295 or a 305 will be fine for you

Most people run a 35 series tire on an 18" wheel. 40 gives you a bit more sidewall so it would work but wouldnt look as good. IMO.. a 295/35/18 is perfect for a 10.5 wheel

295/35 is what the Z06's used, 26.1" tall, just about right...

Running a 285/35-18 on my 18x10.5 rears, wasn't ideal but worked out alright.
