Default billet specialties streeet light15x7 rims DONT FIT without heavy mods

found out the hard way that the billet specialties 15x7 street light wheels dont fit without grinding the calipers to an almost unsafe level and also have to trim the front bumper where it rolls into the wheel well. THIS IS AFTER I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD FIT WITH NO PROBLEM. maybe you could get away with a drag brake but i drive my car on the street to much to run them

I thought it was a wide spread fact that NO 15's wider than a 4" fit the front on a fourth gen. We have 13" front rotors...15" wheel arent gonna clear. I'd bet a F-body specific REAR wouldn't even clear a front brake setup.

You sure they didn't say the 17x7s clear with no problems?

im positive i was asking about 15x7s thats what I purchased from them so why would they answer a question about 17x7s? 2 different vendors told me they would fit including billet specialties directly

Who said they would fit? Billet specialties or some mail order place.Summit told me they would fit, asked based on what info.Told me bolt pattern ! Billet specialties said no way would they fit, said they would not even guarantee 15x4 would clear with no problems might need some slight clearance to the caliper.

Did you tell them you were putting the rims on the front and not the back?

Are they F-body specific? A F-body barrel that they use is different then the standard barrel.
