Default Torque thrust m pics..

Here are few pics of my 99 TTM with torque thrust m chrome rims. They are 17 by 9 size gave up trying to get some 10.5 they are always on permanent backorder! Waited over a year to get some.

I have toyo tq tires on now should take another pic of them they have interesting tread pattern.

Also got a set of ttm for wifes 96z28 vert and put another set of same size on my et street radials for occasional track and street use so when have them on the wheels are all matching.

While was considering something exotic like fiske fm10 or something like year old snowflakes the TTm were mostly chose for the following reasons. They are full chrome not a big fan of aluminum clear coated or non coated rims and not a big fan of black rims.
Also they clear ..just the corvette brake swap with no spacers. And lastly they were pretty reasonable in price ,the 17 by 9 are readily available and they are offered in 17 by 10.5 which would be nice to run bit wider rubber but the 10.5 have been backordered forever. May pick up a set down the road though.

Look good. Yeah I had to wait a few times to get mine. If i would've known the front would clear I would've done the same swap as you before!

Hi I am sorry to bother you guys but have a 98 formula with a 408 and need to get traction. I am considering the torque thrust rims and definitely would get the 10.5s when they become available. For the folks that had them- did you have to roll the fenders? What mods did you have to do? I have ws6s on it (not the speedlines, the orig ones). My car is not lowered. Thanks for the replies!

I waited over a year for the 10.5 TTM in chrome. Always backordered, dates always moving ahead. Do yourself a favor if they are none assume they will never make them again. You can likely get a set right now in anthracite or black. So go with them or get the TT2 they are available I think. I wanted the TTM as they clear my c5 z06 brake swap with no spacers. But finally just got 17 by 9 ones and took back the 295/45/17 et streets that were going to run and gave up on the 315/35/17 nitto idea. I would up running
the new toyo tq drag radials for daily driver ,they work ok in rain and stick pretty good .I have some et street radials in 275/40/17 for some track and serious street fun. Really that little bit wider is not going to help that much. Also like the fact that all my tires are same height won't have to play with tuning when switch them back and forth on street.

I really dont' think american racing is ever going to make 10.5 TTM in chrome again. And after all this run around and waiting I don't even care.

So would 10.5" TTM's clear Corvette brakes up front? Have any of you guys mounted the 10.5" TTM on the front? Any spacers needed?

Lots of people run 17x11 ZR1's upfront with no problems. I am just curious how the backspacing of the TTM's works out and if they would clear larger than stock brakes.

Anyone....

I don't think have seen one single f body with 17 by 11s on it front? The TTM are 10.5 .The Torque thrust 2 are 11 inch.
I have not been able to get a set of 10.5 TTM in over a year of waiting. Maybe they are finally making them again. They did have some in anthracite and black I think just not chrome.

No offense, but you need to look around more. There are LOTS of people doing this. Check out F-Body Road Race & Autocross Forums.

Bump. Anyone with 10.5" TTM's on all four corners?

Ok you are right I mostly read the 1/4 mile and forced induction posts.
I can see why it would be nice to have bigger rims and bigger rubber for road race and autocross.
