CCW Classics & 345/30/18 DRs inside (Cobra Content)
Put some new shoes on the 01 Cobra today.
I decided on 18x9.5 Fronts 18x11 Rears 345/30/18 BFG G-Force T/A tires. 5/16th spacer and a lot of BFH.
No fancy shots, just a couple pictures from the parking lot at work.

Buddy of mine has 335s on his 03, same color and all but he is on FR500s. MY OPINION, it looks like ****. Absolutely no offense meant when I say that either. I say try taking the spacer out, that should help.
IMO 315 is the MAX on a street car. Honestly a 295 IMO is PERFECT for a street car. If you are looking for more of a drag look than a "pretty" look then 315-325 is acceptable.. Anything over that and I don't like it.
Again, just my opinion. I love the car just not my choice for tire size.. Now the rims...

It's a love it or hate it thing. I think these cars look goofy with anything less than a 315 though, as big as the rear bumpers are on these cars. I will however admit that I'm not happy with the way they stick out 1/2 past the fender. But I was at work and only had 10 mins to toss them on, so I didn't have the proper tools for really fitting them. If I can't tuck them in further, I'm going to switch to a 315/30/18 of the same tire.
Post some pics up in here when you get rid of the spacer, I'm interested to see the end result!

They just stick out too much... Am I the only one who thinks the majority of wide wheels stick out too much?
Mini Tub is where it is at if you are going to run wide wheels.
I do love the CCW classics though.
Take some more pics without the spacer, that should make it tuck more!

Mini tubbing it isn't going to help because the problem lies with the IRS control arm. I still have like 2" before I'd run into the wheel well/tub itself, it's just this damn IRS control arm sticks out so far!

Thanks! It's their Brushed Titanium finish. I was really on the fence about how it would look with this color, because no one (that I've seen) has ever used this finish on a Cobra other than black, but I really love it. It changes color in different lighting, and is pretty neat!

Anyways, spent a majority of my time at work this morning heating and pounding on the one spot it was rubbing, and I got the pass side on without a spacer. This is as tucked in as it's going to get, as there is no spacer, and this is as deep as the 6.75" backspace of the CCWs will allow.
