What are my other options other than re-chrome and expect it to peel again down the road?

Is it hard/expensive to get the chrome off of these wheels and paint or powdercoat the set?

I think I've outgrown the chrome look wheels... I think it's time to powdercoat it.

best shot is to go to a good powdercoater, who would use an etching agent. Chrome can come off but ou don't want that bill.

^ what he said cause from what ive always heard having something chromed is a lil pricey

Go to Motomotion.com or uswheelexchange.com ; both places have a finish that is warrantied and will not rust, chip, peal or flake off and it has the same exact finish as chrome!

am having same as your issue .. my z06 need to re-chromed ..
gotta go and look for black chrome finish !!

Btw its not my car .. just wanna share .

Neither place will refinish chromed rims.
