Just have a look, and picture the red lip on a silver trans am. **** or not. I hate the rivets, but I knind of like the lip. Your opinion does matter to me, I'm looking for new rims for my 2000 WS6. Just throw your opinion at me.

I'm not sure how those would look but I can say those type of rims are more geared towards higher-end domestics and exotics. Those colors are represent the colors available for Corvettes: Black, Red, LeMans Blue, and Atomic Orange.

As for black wheels with a red lip, I've seen a few cars that were able to pull it off but the only reason why is because they went with a larger diameter rim. People who put a red stripe along the rim of a 16" or 17" are killing it.

I think it largely depends on the wheel/car combo. And the offset of the wheels. Personally I like it on those corvette wheels.

+1 with 02TransAm/Batmobile on the exotic wheel look.

All black wheels on these cars don't look good...at least not enough of the guys that do it pull it off. Gunmetal, silver, polished would look great on silver.

Im not sure how I feel about the concept of the rep lip...

but i do know that those C6 "replicas" look like *******... wtf were they thinking with that design...

the painted lip looks good on nicer cars. vette's, lambo's, Porsche's etc

I always thought painted lips on F-Bodys looked plain GAY.....but that doesn't look so bad on that black T/A......kinda cool.
