Getting 18x10.5s on all four. I've done a lot of research but the only tires I can find are DR's, unless you go down to 285 or 295. Ideally, I would like to have 305/315 on the back and 285/295 on the front, matching preferred. This is mainly a street car, but will be at the track occasionally. More concerned with wet performance than dry stickies, but more importantly just want them to last a little while.

Might be tough to do with 18's. I did a quick search for you using 17 inch wheels and turned up a few results. But nothing came up for an 18 inch wheel

295s would be about a 1/2" taller...not sure you'd want that up front.
Michelin PS2 ...315-30-18 and 275-35-18
Pirelli PZero...same
Yokohama...same

I'm not sure this is the OP issue or not, but I wanted some OE Wheels in a 17x11 but they are not going to make them. So I either find another wheel that I would be ok with or go 18x10.5 and suffer through tire price/availability. I am leaning toward the latter and just dealing with tire issues
-BTW 18x10.5 does look bad *** on all 4!

I hear you about the 17s, I'm still considering all options, but I really like these wheels:
http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels-fo...02085-3-1.html
and they only come in 17x9.5 or 18x10.5. and the 18x10.5 has a deeper dish and I want all 4 to look the same. But for the price of those tires, I may have to go with 17s, at least in the front.
What a tough decision

Wow, those are pricey! But that's what I asked for. I guess I never tried searching for 315-30. Thanks for the help.

Well, i just got done doing this song and dance, and your options for a 305/315 non DR are very limited, i do know that you can ket the Kumho Ecsta XS's in a 315 rear and 275 front. I ended up getting the MT ET Street Radial II's in the rear--305/35/18, and Hankook V12's in the front 285/35/18. 18's are expensive *** tires, and i kinda wish i would have just gone with ZR1's with 11's in the rear, but i was impatient, and got a deal on the 18" rims, along with the fact that the tire shop took my stockers in on trade and gave me a awesome trade-in value. Everything fits with no rubbing...I did the BFH mod in back before i had the 305's installed just in case, and i had them put 5/16" spacers on the front, because things looked close, but i am gonna check this winter to see if i can just remove the spacers.

^^Looks sweet! and after the money is spent, that's all that matters. How do the M/T ET Streets ride? Have you driven in wet weather or any hard curves?
I'm really starting to look at the Nitto NT555 (not the DRs). They make them in 285-40 and 285-35 with about 11.5" section width. Or I may get the NT555R in the back and go with the non-DRs in the front.
Either way, I'm ready to pull the trigger on something.

These guys have really good deals on tires....but Im sure you can fit some nice 315s out back.
315-35-18 Toyo Proxes TQ Drag radials on my 18x10.5 OE. Deep dish C5s. These tires are really soft and from what I understand they last longer than BFG d/r's. Oh and they are really cheap at 200 bucks each.

My buddy has the Nitto 555's on front and rear of his stang..315's in the back, and really likes them for an all around tire that hooks decent, but will have a much better treadlife than any DR's or MT's. For the fronts, i wouldn't go any bigger than the 285/35's, and i would have gotten the 275/35's to be safer, but they couldn't get them, and i wanted to match diameter front to rear as best as possible.

I recently installed my 275/35R18 front and 315/30R18 rear Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's and have no complaints here! I personally dont see why tire prices between 17's and 18's are such a big deal on here. The only reason I can see is that most cannot keep there foot out of it and are constantly replacing tires? I was running some PS2's (in a 295/30R18) that I got used from the Porsche Dept at my work just to try them out, see if I liked how they drove. I ran on them for two seasons, with some AutoX events thrown in for fun, and they still had tread on them when I got rid of them. I probably put 8-10K miles on in that time. The tires only had about 5/32" of tread when I got em. When I got rid of them, for proper sized PS2's and new CCW's, they still hadnt made it down to the wear indicators yet (3/32" is indicator level). I can tell you on Porsches though, they dont last very long! Fronts will still have about 7/32" when they replace the rears. Although Michelin just came out with a PS3 that has a higher tread rating. I think its like 340 compared to the 220 of the PS2's. Im not saying that you cant buy any of them in the 17" size either, but I think 18's look better. I honestly dont believe you will regret buying 18's even though it may cost you more.
