40 mm offset ZO6 spyders
Hey Guys
I am about to order a set of spyders from 6litereater and Mark had concerns that the 40mm offset would not work on the Camaro. My understanding from the stickies and research here is that 40mm will fit just inside the wheelwell and give me room to do the CTS-V brake conversion without running spacers. What's ya'lls opinion on this offset?

if theyre 9.5" and the offset is 40mm, then the backspacing should be a hair under 4.5", they should fit but may dig the sidewall when the rear dips more than a couple of inches.. maybe...

if theyre 9.5" 0 Offset would give him 4.75 backspacing plus 1.57" is just a tick over 6.75.. that was my bad i do know my measurements tho.. i do have a post on some boss 338 rims that the site says wont fit.. but they are 9.5" wide with 4.5" bs so that would give them 38mm offset right.. anyway.. 4.5 was a goof on my part.. sue me..

Those rims are meant to work with the big calipers. In my research on wheels, up front a 9.5 rim with a +40mm offset sits perfectly in the wheel well. I dont know how that offset works out back but if your referring to up front its perfect and will work with CTS-V calipers without spacers.

I have the stock 16x8's and the rears appear to sit further back in the wheel wells than the fronts, so I assume that as long as the fronts are okay then the rear should be no problem.
