Ok I got these rims free,they are 18 inch aztec chrome 5 spoke rims,they look kinda like the zr1s ,the chrome is pitted pretty bad ,and one wheel has a decent sized chip,I was thinking of doing them in a gloss black,and have a ss center decal made,I think they would look good,I'm just not sure if painting chrome or powder coating them would turn out,what do you guys think,I have never painted or anything on a chrome before,is there a special kind of primer?or away to prep them down enough for paint ,powder coat,I have pro stars 15x4,15x10,but I would like a spare set of rims just in case I go on a trip or something,I would rather drive on a 18x9.5 rim for 12 hours than a 15x4 anyday lol,thanks guys again I'm a noob to painting on chrome just wondering if there is diffrent steps or products to use,God bless

i think i would powder coat its thick and shines real good

Yeah I'm pretty set on powder coating plus I can sell the wheels for a lil more than if I painted them,I mean I got the wheels free,so I dont paying some money to make them look right,ill post some pics of them as soon as I figure out how to do it on my android phone,I spent a hour yesterday trying to figure it out
