DD C5 18x10.5 question
Okay so after this set of 17" mickeys wear out i think im going to step up to the 18" rear setup for the street and get a pair of 15" for the track.
The only problem i have is my car is dropped stupid low (the top of my 295/45/17 is almost under the fender) and i dont want to get the wider rim and have massive fitment issues on the outside fender. I dont mind hammer the **** out of the inside, but if im constantly rubbing cutting nicking the tire ill stay in a 17" setup.
any comments? I plan on running at least a 28" tire on the 18s as well because of my gears (4.56s)

I just ordered the same wheels for all 4 corners. I did a lot of research before I ordered, but don't have any hands on experience yet. I haven't heard of any major problems with the 315/35/18, even on lowered cars. These wheels have a 56mm offset which puts them tucked inside the fender (from what I've learned). I think the only problem you would have is the inside of the fender well. I read where some guys have to put a spacer in the back to get the wheel flush with the fender. From what I've read, it seems like you would be fine, even with a 28 x 12.5.
