Default pics of 4.5 backspacing on welds

Before you guys go telling me that the 4th gens need 5.5" backspacing, I already know that. I found some pics of a trans am with 4.5" backspacing and it looks awesome. Looks deeper than the 5.5" backspacing and they fit. Anyone else here run 4.5" backspacing with pics? Here is what I found so far with a little searching.

I forgot to mention that this is on a 15x8 wheel not a 15x10.

That has to have a narrowed rear. There's no way they tuck with a 15x8 and 4.5 backspace. I had 15x8s with 5.5 on mine and they stuck out farther than those do in the first picture.

Doesn't matter. Like mentioned, if the rear isn't narrowed it's going to stick out a couple of inches and look like ****.

It is a stock 10 bolt rear end. Not narrowed at all.

The pics are of a stock rear end with 15x8 4.5" backspacing. Since it is not narrowed and you can see how they look, do you still think it looks like ****?

Were you running a spacer on your rear for caliper clearance? That might be the issue.

No, I did not have spacers on my 15x8s. Something is not adding up here. Either his rear is narrowed and he doesn't know it, or he's wrong about his backspace. It's just not physically possible for them to be under the fender with a 4.5 backspace.

This was 15x8 with 5.5 backspace on my car, now imagine these another inch outside the wheel well. They would stick out like 3"

Same rim with a 325/50/15 tire and 1/2 spacer, which would make them a 5" backspace in theory.
