Default Bought Summit Warrior R/t's for my firebird.

Bought summit Warrior R/t's for my Firebird. They are 15x8 in the rear with 275-60-15 ET Street Radials and 15x4 in the front with 165 R15 cheapo tires up front. Wheels cost only $453 shipped and fit great with no caliper grinding at all. Had to roll rear quarter panel lips but car has very soft shocks and is lowered via removing the rear spring isolators. I really like them and the car makes around 600 flywheel and runs really well from 20mph on black top. No dig results yet. Still working on car excuse the jack stands. LOL.

Thanks. When I was looking into them seemed nobody had tried them on an f body so with some careful measuring I decided to take a chance on them. Very happy with them.

Looks good. People have used them, most just don't unless they're just going for the drag look, as they're a heavy "want to be" drag wheel.

They are heavy thats for sure but a couple extra pounds in overall weight isn't really gonna hurt anything for me. Just a nice hot rod.

They are 15x8 with 5.5 inch's of back spacing in the rear and the fronts are 15x4 with 1 and 3/4 back spacing.

Thanks for the compliments. Looks better sitting on the ground. It broke the trans right after installing them so I had to take it apart as you could tell. just got it fixed today.

The fronts will definately be lighter but the rears are probably the same. I would imagine the wheel is between 10 and 15 lbs. Compared to my old Convo Pro wheels they are massive. The spokes are probably an inch or so thick and solid. I like them a lot.

Sounds like about the same as Pro Stars, which would be fine by me.

Those look reall nice. I'd be interested in maybe just getting a pair for the front. Thanks for trying these out. What front tires are you using?

Weld Prostars are much lighter than your stock wheels and tires, and a few lbs lighter than Summits wheels. Each single static lb of weight when converted to rolling mass is over 3lbs, so keep that in mind when picking out wheels, a single pound doesn't sound like much, but when it's all said and done the wheels on your car can be the difference between a 10.00 pass and a 9.80 pass.

What is the exact sizing and backspacing you ordered. I wanna make sure I get this right. Did you order anything else like lugnuts and wheels studs?

vegas- remember- lt1 brakes are smaller... i have jegs sportlites that had fit on my 96, and dont even come close on my 01... hate to see someone spend money and get stuck with something they cant use... thats why my wheels are for sale... they do look good though..
