Default How do I make these fit?

285/40/17 on the front

335/35/17 to go on rear.

I bought new rims and these are the tires already mounted with good tread. Am I going to have a problem and need to do major modifications? Help would be great guys, thanks.

Edit: This is a 98 Z28 Camaro, Stock Suspension, Stock Height.

The tires mounted are about 13 wide and inside of rim says 17 x 11 and off + 50

Sorry about that

front will bolt right in assuming the BS and offset are correct, rear you might need to BFH and roll the fender lip, maybe even use aftermarket LCAs if the tire contacts them.

Bolt the rear wheel and tires on with the suspension loaded (Jack and jackstands under the rear end housing, not the chassis) and look to see where they're rubbing. Remove and pound that area with a huge hammer, and re check clearance. Repeat until enough clearance has been gained. Doesn't mess anything up, nothing from inside the wheel well can be seen from the outside of the vehicle.

Can't say I have any experience with that. Usually just a few slugs with a big hammer will clear them. It took me about 40 seconds per side to clear for my 325s

Just did that and rolled the fender lip up? Do you have any suspension parts to make it like LCAs or are you all stock?

I didn't roll my fenders. I had BMR Adjustable LCAs on the car, but I also had those tires on the car for a little while back when it had the stock LCAs.

How'd it ride for you? How was handling and all that and did you get a lotta rub on bumps?

I should've rolled the fenders as it rubs a little on big bumps, but it never concerned me enough to do it. It was more of a drag car so it didn't ride like a normal car anyways, but I'm sure you'll be fine. Just unbolt your bumpstops and get to pounding.
