can someone recommend me some good grip street tires?
Im currently shopping for some street tires for my 02 z06. Its current back tires have some descent thread left but they literally wont hook...
I mean when i start from 1st gear and second gear roll, the car just spins and goes sideways. For example, when im in second gear and at 3500 rpm and punch the throttle, the car spins and ends up putting me in the other lane And the car is stock for Christ sake!
So i was wondering what tires would grip well both from a dig and a roll?
Where would i be able to buy some?
thanx

I use 315/35/17 GS-D3's on the rear and Nitto 555 Extremes on the front.
The GS-D3's grip way better than BFG drag radials do "on the street" (just a comparison tire for you)......and wet traction is simply amazing. Handling is awesome to say the least. I've had 3 sets of 315/35/17's and I always get 15,000+ miles out of them too. My front Nitto 555 Extremes also give me 15,000+ miles.
Last time my rear GS-D3's were ready for a change, about 10 months ago I could not find any and I was in a rush....so I went with Nitto 555 Extremes for the rear (315/35/17). They are actually pretty damn good, but nothing like the GS-D3's.
If you're short on cash....go Nitto 555 Extremes....they are excellent.
If money isn't an issue....go GS-D3......you will love them, they're sick.
I could roast the BFG drag radials from a dig at 18-20psi for an 1/8 mile if I went WOT, or if I rolled into the throttle they still wanted to break free. No possible way I can do that with the GS-D3's at full pressure on the street. They dead hook from a 40mph WOT punch.
