2001 C5 thin spokes on 99 Camaro? I purchased a set of 2001 C5 thin spoke Corvette wheels 17 X 8.5 and 18 X 9.5. I want to use 245/45R17 and 275/40/18 tires. I put the rear wheel on with no tire and look to have only about 1" clearance from inner fender to rim lip so I know it is going to be close. Has anyone else tried this combination?

I have the c5 thin spokes with the 18x9.5 all around with a 285/30 on it and its not rubbing anywhere, so with a 275 tire you should be good. you can see a pic of what i got with the 285's in my sig

Just have your inner fender lips rolled if you think there will be clearance issues. There are plenty of cars on this site running around with those same wheels without issues.
