Default What rear tires for Race Stars

I am ordering some new Race Stars monday morning. Only thing I need to decide before then is whether to get ET streets in the 275/50-15 or the 295/55-15. I dont really want to have to do the BFH or anything so any input would be great! It is the stock height in the rear and also getting the adj. panhard bar. Now is a 165/80 tire for the front good? Getting the 5" front wheel so I have a little better streetability for every day driving! Any input would be great guys, thanks in advance.

You sure the 5" rim will fit up front without clearance issues? Also, what's the car's gear and power level? Wanting to stay at a 26" tire or move to a bit taller one?

Well I know the 5" wheels is 2.5" BS. Not sure if that would be right or not? The car has 4.10 gears and is an M6. Im making 432/399 at the wheels. Will be more when I put on my 150 nitrous. I am just wanting more tire but dont really want to hav to hammer the wheel wells or anything. 26" would be ok but I know the 295/55 is a little bigger.

I highly doubt the 5" fronts are going to fit regardless of backspacing

If your concerned about fitment on the rear tires, just stick with the 275/50 15 et streets because you know they will fit with no modifactions whatsoever.

If your not dead set on radial 27" Et Streets or QTPs will fit perfect, If you need a DR 275-50 shouldnt require any mods.
The 3.75s look great up front and if you get a street tire they handle fine as long as you realize your not Mario Andretti. Even my sportsman fronts work good on the street.

Well I really need radial because the car is a DD. Would a 295/55R15 require mods? I have the 4.10 gears and now I have heard a 275/50 isnt too good for that.
