What do you do when it rains?
And why do you suppose this pair lasted about as long as the last pair despite the fact that you've adjusted the tire pressure?

When it rains, I just have to be more alert. It rained the previous Friday here and when it was pouring and the roads were holding water, I could get up to about 40 MPH safely and later when it stopped and the roads were still wet, I could get up to 60 MPH safely.

I am pretty positive the particular wear pattern on the tires, regardless of tire pressure, is the result of running a tire too wide for the rim. I had low tire pressure this whole time so I can't say that the center wear is from over-inflation. Also, one of the tires developed a leak that I didn't catch for a while and was running on 11 PSIG so that's why its FUBAR.
