Default 18 x 10.5 C6 OEWheels on Camaro

Is anyone running OEWheels 18 x 10.5 C6 rims on the rear of their Camaro? I have an '01 and am skeptical they will not rub without inner wall modifications.

hey man I'm in the same place as you, only I have 18x10.5 wheels for the rear (c6 z06) I have heard that it all depends on what offset you choose and if you decide to run 295-315 tires. ofcourse, having a 295 tire theoretically will help with rubbing issues (compared to 315) but from what I understand spacers and/or bfh (banging in wheel well to fit the wider wheel) will be required. I also heard nittos run more narrow than other tires so I am going to try it out and and let you kno (once i get money for tires lol). Hopefully, I can run the 10.5s in back without mods but if so, then it will be worth it! BFH is no biggie. There are people who are mini tubbing it (but again that is $$$$)

I'm running 18x10.5 Z06 wheels on my 2001 Z28 with 275-35-18 with no problems.

275s probably look like crap on those 10.5" wide wheels too.

Go with a 295 tire and it should not rub if you are stock height.

295s here on my lowered 01 with no rubbing at all. Toyo proxes on my chrome set and nto5s on my black set. both rear rims are 18x10.5..I did have to use the bfh a little on driver side only.
