Default Anyone running Strano Springs with 19's?

Heard a lot of good things about Strano springs and planning on picking up a set soon. I'm also going to be picking up some 19" rpm 505's for my black 98 TA. Was wondering how tight the front tire to fender gap is going to be and what tire sizes everyone is running. Post what ya got. Thanks in advance!

Rim size is negligible, tire size is what matters. As long as you keep a stock height tire your cool. Might need a bfh and fender roll but thats it.

I know that, but through searching I have seen TA's with a eibach pro kit, with identical tire sizes, and one looks to have one-two fingers gap, and others look like they are almost tucking the same size tire. Its deceiving...

I just did the strano/koni setup in my 2001 formula. But it being winter here in colorado i took off my 19's and put on my stock 16 and snow tires because i do drive it in the winter from time to time. As soon as i get a chance ill throw the 19's back on and take some measurements for you. But my car now with the 16s on fit snug lol. my 19's are going to require a fender mod or some work im sure.

Depends on what profile you end up going with. I have 275/30/19s on my fronts and it's a pretty small profile. Personally I think stranos aren't low enough to close the gap thats why I run coilovers. Perhaps a 275/35/19 if you don't mind the ballooniness look (which most 4th gen owners do prefer) and you will probably get a little smoother ride and it would help fill the gap on stranos.

Love the car man, are you running the old 1" BMR kit or the newer kit? What size tires are you running because you don't have much fender to tire gap in the front. Looks just about right to me.

Think its the old BMR setup (1"). Im running 275/30/19, all fours.

Cool. it was mentioned above about running 275/35/19's all around but I'm not real sure that will work. If you are running the old BMR setup, then stranos should be just a tick lower than what you are in the front, and I think a 35 series tire would just create problems. I'd like to see anyone running a 35 series 19" tire up front and what lowering setup they are using if there is anyone out there. I could see a 285/30/19 though as the overall diamater is just a tick bigger than the 275/30.

your clearance should be ok running 285/19/30's on strano springs, a lot will depend on your offset and tire choice, not all tires run exactly the same size, some run a little larger or smaller depending on brand.

I'd be a little worried about your shocks tho, running strano's & the extra wheel weight will kill the stock de carbons
