Whats the widest tire that can go on a 99 T/A I'm looking for tires and wheels for my 99 trans am and I wanted to see how wide I can go on the rears. I am going to go with the 17x10.5 TTM wheels in rear and 17x9 in front. I don't really want to get into any modifications to make tires fit or not rub. Any suggestions on tire type also? Pics would be great for tire size if anybody has any. Thanks

I see you just joined and you need to do some of your own research, there are TONS of threads on this full of info and pictures.
315 is as big as you can go without an modifications, however some end up having to do some slight massaging to make them fit. It depends on many things, what suspension you have...to even what brand of 315 you go with. For example there is a huge difference in width between a nitto 555 extreme 315 and a Goodyear GSD3 315.
